Staff Data Engineer

We are looking for a Staff Data Engineer to join a team within the energy industry. In this new role you will be focussing on complex data based problems. You will be working as part of global company utilising data lakes/ ADF to ensure optimum, modern data solutions are implemented.
You will be relying heavily on your previous 3+ years experience with Azure for the technical aspects of the role working mainly as an IC. Whilst also leading, growing and developing a team of data engineers that writes, deploys and maintains software to build, integrate, manage, maintain, and quality-assure data.

An energy supermajor has ambitious plans to become one of the leading providers of green energy globally and have a net-zero carbon impact by 2030. To achieve this successfully, they need your help.
The work is critical, as you’ll be building and leading cross-functional teams responsible for building many of the fundamental systems that are needed to run their new and existing businesses from the ground up.
Projects can include wind turbines, electronic car charging systems and other software-based businesses. Candidate must have experience with AWS.

Senior Data Analyst

Description
The opportunity is for a global project aiming to identify opportunities within data and renewable energy. You will be providing data driven insights and identifying globally impactful opportunities.
You will need excellent skills in Python (or R) and SQL, with the ability to write and maintain complex data pipelines. The Ideal candidate will have 5+ years in analytics and a quantitative degree. You’ll be joining an analytics team at the forefront of energy technology innovation.
The contract:
– Up to £580 per day
– Hybrid (London) or remote
– 6 months initially, with extension possible

Senior Data Scientist
Python, ML, AWS
£500-600 per day

Description
The opportunity is for a global project aiming to change the world through data and renewable energy. You will be designing, planning and productionising scalable ML models. We’re really interested in people who have strong experience putting ML models into production.
You will need to have excellent skills in Python, with an interest in building ML models that can consume data from large datasets and deliver predictions instantly. You will be joining a team of software and data engineers, and data scientists.
The main skills that are required for this role include:
- Excellent coding skills in Python, with knowledge of data structures and algorithms
- 5+ years experience in data science, including Clustering, Forecasting, Deep Learning or NLP
- 3+ years putting models into production using AWS or Azure
- Passionate about using ML to affect positive change

Staff Data Engineer | £120k | London

You will be building scalable data infrastructure that ensures high quality data arrives in the right places.
