Love the idea of responsibility? Love working with startups? Ready for a real challenge?
Yes to all three? Great.
I’m working with a large company in searching for a Site Reliability Engineer. The role would sit atop of a project which aims to launch 100 startups a year to solve various inefficiencies in the tech and energy sector.
You would use your skills in all things OpenSource (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins etc.), Golang, and running software with AWS to lead the project’s SRE function to allow the software engineers to do what they do best without needing to build out a platform to complete the projects on.
Lots of responsibilities, lots of work, everything that comes with working in start-up environments – but without the usual risks.
Experience Needed:
- Golang
- AWS
- IaC Tools (Terraform, Pulumi, Helm etc.)
- Setting up modern CI/CD pipelines (ArgoCD, CircleCI etc.)
The total compensation for this role can lie anywhere between £175,000 – £250,000. The role does require candidates to be in London but relocation/sponsorship can be offered to exceptional candidates.

Take a massive oil company and turn it into a carbon neutral company. Impossible, right? How does software engineering help fight against the biggest threat the world is facing?
Only by being data driven and taking a progressive approach with some of leading figures straight out of Silicon Valley using hypothesis driven development, AB testing, and only the highest standards of engineering, can a huge complex business like this transform itself inside out.
I’m therefore looking for software engineers like you to work on something truly globally impactful. You will be using your skills to work on one of many projects, from EV charging solutions to IOT systems, there’s something for everyone. No matter your expertise, there is a team which will make full use of it and give you the possibility to contribute from the get go.
Experience required:
- 4+ years of working with scalable systems in complex, cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Strong development experience in object-oriented languages (Python, Go, Java, C++ etc.)
- Strong fundamental knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems
Other details:
- Salary up to £83,000 (TC up to £110,000)
- 3 stage interview process
- Hybrid role (3 days per week in Central London office, 2 from home)
- Sponsorship can be provided on a case-by-case basis
