We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to join trg.

  • 5+ years of experience in sales leadership, preferably in the recruitment industry.
  • Proven track record of success in meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong understanding of the recruitment process and the needs of clients and candidates
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills Ability to motivate and inspire a team Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a numerical or creative degree is appreciated but by no means essential.

The key responsibilities include:

Team Leadership

  • Provide guidance, mentorship and coaching to a team of sales professionals, helping them to achieve their individual goals
  • Set clear SMART objectives and KPIs for the team based on the company’s objectives.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative and innovative work environment.

Business Development

  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve the trg. revenue targets and expand the customer base from 31 to 75.
  • Identify new business opportunities, market trends and emerging technologies.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and excellent service delivery.

Client Sales

  • Work closely with the team to ensure client needs are understood and addressed effectively.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers to identify cross-selling opportunities and maximize revenue from existing clients.
  • Lead client meetings and negotiations, ensuring successful outcomes.

Performance Management

  • Regularly track and analyse team performance against targets and objectives.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive reports to senior management.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.

Recruitment Strategy & Execution

  • Drive the recruitment process from sourcing to placement, ensuring highquality candidate submissions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to make informed decisions.
  • Oversee and participate in complex and high-profile searches as needed.

Hiring

  • Responsible for team head count
  • Work with the Operations and Talent Lead to build pipelines for new hires

Market Research & Insights

  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute lead generation and nurturing campaigns
  • Work with the marketing team to conduct market research to identify key technology trends, talent availability, and competitive intelligence.
  • Use market insights to inform recruitment strategies and business development efforts.

Forecasting

  • Leverage industry knowledge, market trends and client behaviour to create accurate and actionable sales forecasts
  • Analysing historical data, monitoring pipeline progression and identifying potential opportunities and challenges Ensuring that forecasts are dynamic and responsive to shifts in the market, providing valuable insights for resource allocation, goal setting and strategic decision-making

Community

  • Understand the history, ethos and value of The Roundabouts.
  • Become a regular, recognisable and approachable networker at trg. events.
  • Leverage The Roundabouts across trg. ’s existing client base as well as new customers.
