What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Design and implement APIs, infrastructure, and backend solutions using industry best practices.
  • Work on a data-oriented platform handling terabytes of data, building ETL pipelines, and utilizing BigQuery.
  • Build a bespoke campaign cost estimation tool for the client.

Must Have Experience:

  • 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • Expertise in the Python standard library and modern Python coding, testing, debugging, and automation techniques.
  • Proficiency with web frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI, and Django.
  • Experience with React/TypeScript
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Skilled in data storage and querying using various database solutions, including BigQuery.

Nice to Have Experience:

  • Experience working alongside front-end developers and UX engineers.
  • Familiarity with agile and lean methodologies.
  • Knowledge of tools like Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.

You will:

  • Productionise NLP Pipelines: Deploy & manage NLP models (fraud detection, risk assessment) with a focus on NER. Leverage CI/CD & containers for seamless integration & scalability.

I’m on the lookout for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join an InsurTech scale-up on a contract basis! You’ll be working closely with Data Scientists and Software Engineers to develop and productionise a greenfield NLP product.
