Required experience

Experience in designing and building data pipelines using SQL, code, ETL tools

Strong estimation and planning skills

Mentoring team members and peer-review of their work

Must have experience:

Experience with GCP (Bigtable, Spanner, Cloud Storage, Compute Engine, Dataflow)

Quality engineering best practice and tooling including TDD, BDD

Up to date knowledge of Python coding, testing, debugging

Familiarity with Flask and other Python web frameworks

Experience working with large sets of data

Experience with BigQuery

Strong knowledge of AWS Serverless Applications

Ability to refactor code for containerized environments or cloud services (AWS Lambda, etc)

Very comfortable with AWS component building (Step functions, Lambda, S3, AWS Glue, SNS, SQS)

Assignment details

Estimation and planning

Building a greenfield project from scratch

Creating deployment and disaster recovery plans

Mentoring team members and peer-reviewing their work

Writing Technical Designs and providing technical recommendations
